London’s Best Rooftop Bars To Enjoy This Summer
Summer isn’t over just yet; why not take a trip to one of London’s best rooftop bars?
2022’s summer may have peaked, but there are plenty more sunny evenings on the horizon. London is full of bustling and exciting rooftops with breathtaking views in a variety of locations. Whether you want a quiet drink to watch the sunset, or an entertainment-filled venue complete with outdoor cinemas and carnival-style games, London has it all! So, grab your sunglasses and head to one of London’s best rooftop bars.
Netil 360, Hackney
Nestled in the stylish heart of East London, Netil360 is an open-plan rooftop space that has incredible views of London’s Canary Wharf. The crowd is young, stylish and diverse. There are often DJs playing chill house music and sets with summery vibes. The bar has a stripped-back, DIY aesthetic and a range of local beers and ciders. The rooftop itself is free from tables and chairs, meaning that guests can lie and chill on the floors, giving the bar a relaxing ambience. There are even saunas that open when autumn kicks in.
1 Westgate Street, E8 3RL. The nearest station is London Fields.
Franks Café – Bold Tendencies, Peckham
Franks Café in South London’s stylish Peckham is arguably the most artistic space on the list. The venue is an old concrete, brutalist-style multistorey car park that has been revamped into a complex of restaurants, bars, businesses and venues. On top of the complex sits Frank’s café – Bold Tendencies, which is the perfect spot to enjoy a 360-degree sunset. There is also a free exhibition, which features local artists and peculiar giant sculptures.

Roof East, Stratford
Roof End is packed full of fun. This rooftop consists of street food popups, multiple bars, an outdoor cinema, games and rides. Whether you want to pound a few pints with mates, chill on a lounger watching a movie, or watch a drag queen perform – this venue has it all.
7 & 8 Stratford Multi Storey Car Park, Great Eastern Rd, London E15 1XE
Prince of Wales, Brixton
Prince of Wales is one of the most popular pubs in South London. On weekends, it’s almost always full to capacity, so it’s urged that you attempt to get in sooner rather than later. The entrance to the Prince of Wales is often overlooked by passers-by. It’s a small door sandwiched between a KFC and a Barclays Bank, however, the raucous crowd outside is the biggest giveaway to the popularity of the pub. If you want a quiet drink, this isn’t the place for you. If you want an alcohol-infused rooftop session, then head on down.
467- 469 Brixton Rd, London SW9 8HH
Queen of Hoxton, Shoreditch
Another East London rooftop on the list, and this time, in the heart of trendy Shoreditch. The venue has three floors, complete with food, cocktails, DJs and installations. The appeal of Queen of Hoxton is the frequent live events that take place on this spacious rooftop. The quirky far eastern-inspired decorations are a vibrant touch in comparison to the cold corporate buildings that surround the bar. Regular events include Karaoke, Pub Quizzes, Live Brass, Hip Hop club nights and even performances from local and international artists.
